Job summary

OpenAI is hiring for an Applied AI Engineering lead in London. You will partner with international public-sector customers to define GenAI strategy, engage with policymakers, and drive prototypes through production, ensuring data, inference, evaluation, and production-readiness boundaries.

You will collaborate with regional Sales, Security, Legal, and other teams, physically in London with a hybrid model (3 days in office) and relocation support for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering GenAI for government agencies.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Understanding privacy, data residency, and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clearly scoped technical implementations with international public-sector customers.
