Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a GenAI Platform Run Manager to lead the Oasis Run & Operations team, ensuring security, resilience and availability as Generative AI adoption grows. You will work with engineering, security, cloud infrastructure and business teams to embed operational excellence and reliable services across Aviva.

The role focuses on incident, problem, change and risk management, enterprise cloud and platform services, and strong stakeholder management to drive cost efficiency and service

Salary: circa £72,000

Locations: Norwich/ Bristol/ Eastleigh/Leatherhead/ York

You'll be confident working across multiple teams, driving operational excellence and helping to deliver reliable, secure services that make a real difference across the business.

A bit about the job:

Oasis is Aviva's Generative AI platform, helping colleagues work smarter and deliver better outcomes for our customers. As our Oasis Run & Operations Manager, you'll lead the team responsible for keeping the platform secure, resilient and available as adoption continues to grow.

You'll work closely with engineering, security, cloud infrastructure and business teams to improve operational performance and service reliability. You'll help ensure AI technologies are supported safely, responsibly and efficiently across Aviva. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in one of Aviva's most innovative technology platforms.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

• Experience leading technology operations, platform support or service management teams.
• Strong knowledge of IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change and risk management.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud, Kubernetes or platform services and driving operational improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Experience delivering operational excellence through service improvement, cost optimisation and supplier management.

• Salary circa £72,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
