Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking an innovative tech lead to build GenAI full‑stack applications in a hybrid London, UK role. You will develop GenAI POCs with RAG, scale them to production, and collaborate on both GenAI and traditional projects.

You will shape infrastructure, adopt modern tooling, and mentor teammates while exploring new tech. The role emphasizes architecture, cloud hosting, and hands-on coding across backend, frontend, and data layers, with a strong learning culture and opportunities

Qualifications

• Backend development with microservices using Python/FastAPI or TS/Express.
• Frontend development in React with TypeScript (Next.js or Vite).
• Experience with GenAI frameworks and LLM tooling.
• Cloud hosting on AWS or Azure, plus containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins).
• Knowledge of vector databases (ChromaDB/Pinecone/PGVector/MongoDB).
• Strong version control with Git platforms.
• Comfort working in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build GenAI POCs using RAG and intelligent agents.
• Scale POCs to production-ready solutions for clients.
• Develop full-stack GenAI and non-GenAI projects.
• Contribute to robust infrastructure for end-to-end solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and GenAI.
• Coach and mentor teammates to grow skills.
