Job summary

Stackd is seeking an AI Agentic Developer to lead next-gen AI-powered development initiatives. You will own end-to-end GenAI systems, architecting solutions with Python/FastAPI backends and React/TypeScript frontends on GCP Vertex AI.

You will mentor teammates, implement LLM orchestration patterns, and ensure observability with LangFuse, Grafana, and Dynatrace. Collaboration with product and solution engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML or GenAI
• Track record delivering production AI systems with end-to-end ownership
• Expert-level proficiency with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows
• Strong full-stack skills in Python and TypeScript/React
• Excellent communication and autonomous task prioritization

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications across backend, frontend, and AI services
• Own GenAI systems end-to-end including architecture, delivery, and cost optimization
• Lead AI-augmented development with assistants to accelerate delivery and quality
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams on technical specs
• Implement LLM orchestration patterns like prompt engineering and RAG
• Build observability pipelines for AI platforms with tracing and cost metrics
• Mentor teammates on agentic practices and AI tooling
• Perform cross-stack analysis to ensure consistency and optimization
• Troubleshoot, test, and implement full-stack enhancements
• Communicate risks and blockers to maintain delivery commitments
• Monitor dashboards and AI model performance using LangFuse, Grafana, etc.
