Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Security Consultant to help design and implement secure systems across security domains, with emphasis on Gen AI, cloud security, and data protection. You will advise on risk, threat modeling, and secure design practices within change programmes.

You will engage with CTO, CIO and Product teams, promote DevSecOps, and influence security controls to strengthen the bank’s posture across technology changes. Knutsford/Manchester is the role location.

Qualifications

• GenAI security knowledge including threat models and controls.
• Cloud security and data protection focused experience.
• Experience with AI governance and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secure-by-design reviews for AI initiatives and platforms.
• Provide security architecture reviews for AI-driven solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Support incident response and threat intelligence related to AI technologies.
