Nestled in the heart ofSohofor over a decade, Gelupo is renowned for creatingthe most exquisite gelato this side of the Alps.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day production of gelato, sorbets, and other kitchen preparations, maintaining our high standards of hygiene and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily production of gelato and sorbets according to recipes and seasonal menus.

• Prepare toppings, inclusions, and other kitchen elements (e.g., pastries, sauces, etc.).

• Monitor product quality and ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, following food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).

• Help train and guide junior staff when needed.

• Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider team on seasonal flavours and product development.

You should have:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie, ideally in pastry or gelato/ice cream production.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality food.

• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a small, close-knit team.

• Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £14.50 - £16.50 (approximately £33,930 – £38,610 pa based on a 45-hour week), dependent on experience.
