Job Description:

At the heart of our operation, our Kitchen porters are pivotal in contributing to the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. We are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion and who embody a ‘can-do’ mindset. Is this you?

Working Hours

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, allowing you to work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. This is a KP position, Monday to Thursday, 11am-3pm. You must be able to work all days during the week and have Black Safety shoes, which are essential.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Being polite, prompt, and friendly to all colleagues and guests.
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen team and front of house colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are professionally cleaned before and after use, and keeping all service areas clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Cleaning all cooking utensils as required during preparation and service times.
  • Cleaning kitchen work areas during and after use, and removing kitchen waste appropriately.
  • Assisting with setting up and clearing down your area for the next service.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Operating cleaning machinery as trained, following company policies.
  • Complying with all company and unit policies regarding Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Enjoying your work, smiling, and having fun!
