Job Description:

Do you want part-time or full-time work in one of the largest catering companies in the UK? We have flexible Catering Assistant roles where you can pick up as many or as few shifts as you like.

Working Hours

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, helping you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. These hours are typically Monday - Thursday 8:00-15:30 and sometimes a Friday 8:00-12:30. You must be available on all weekdays. Previous catering experience in cold food prep, serving, washing up is required. A long-sleeved black shirt, black trousers, and black safety shoes are essential.

Main Responsibilities for Catering Assistants

• Being polite, prompt, and friendly to all colleagues and guests
• Communicating with guests and colleagues to ensure smooth service
• Following guidance and procedures from lead chef and/or room manager to ensure team efficiency
• Taking pride in your work and adhering to standards
• Seeking to improve personal skills and performance
• Complying with health & safety, food safety, allergens, hygiene, manual handling, and COSHH policies
• Taking responsibility for your own health and safety
• Wearing PPE as required
• Enjoying your work, staying positive, and having fun!
