University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust in Poole is seeking a qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join the Outpatient Treatment Centre. You will provide chairside support for dentists and clinicians across a range of outpatient and day-case dental procedures, delivering safe, compassionate care and maintaining infection prevention standards.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a patient-centred approach, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualificações

Qualified and GDC registered Dental Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Patient-centred approach and ability to work under pressure.
Commitment to infection prevention, clinical governance and patient care.
Experience in a multidisciplinary dental environment is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Provide chairside support to dentists and clinicians delivering outpatient and day case dental procedures.
Run patient-facing clinics with specialist knowledge in maxillofacial, head and neck oncology and restorative dentistry.
Prepare the surgical environment and equipment for clinical treatments.
Maintain high-quality service through governance, audits and quality improvements.
Support learning and development for staff and students; medicines management duties within scope.
