Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join our educational team in vibrant Erbil, Kurdistan for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidates will be responsible for educating students in specialist subjects, such as science, maths, English, music, sustainability, etc. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage behaviour effectively, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lessons that align with the school's Oxford curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs.
Educate students in English and provide support for Special Education requirements.
Conduct tutoring sessions to reinforce learning and assist students in achieving their academic goals.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere.
Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement strategies and effective discipline techniques.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications
A valid teaching qualification or degree in Education or a related field.
Experience in teaching secondary school students is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
Proven ability in behaviour management techniques to create a positive classroom environment.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Enthusiasm for tutoring and supporting individual student needs is highly desirable.

Competitive salary range between $3,000 - $4,500 per month (income tax free), depending on experience and qualifications.
