Job summary

I C Talent Ltd is seeking a creative Teacher of Photography for a Peterborough secondary school. You will deliver GCSE Photography lessons, guiding students through research, technical execution and portfolio development.

Immediate start. Expertise with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom is essential. A degree in Photography or Fine Art and familiarity with GCSE criteria are required; QTS/PGCE is desirable. DBS check will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Degree in Photography, Fine Art, or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GCSE Art & Design (Photography) curriculum and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Photography lessons covering digital photography, lighting, composition and workflow.
• Guide students in building portfolios with critical analysis.
• Oversee the studio, equipment and safe working practices.
• Provide feedback aligned with exam board objectives to maximise progress.
