Job description

Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality tutoring in English and Maths for GCSE students
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure student success
Qualifications:

  • Experience in tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be based in East Ham, Greater London, and may require travel to student homes or community centres for outreach sessions.
