About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GCSE Maths Teacher to join our vibrant SEN secondary school in Brent. You will play a crucial role in inspiring and supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in Maths.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and wider staff team
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
About You
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (GCSE experience essential)
• Previous experience working in an SEN setting is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive education
