Activate Learning are seeking a GCSE Maths Teacher to join the Construction Faculty at Guildford College. This permanent, part-time role offers 18.5 hours per week and the chance to inspire and support students on GCSE Maths courses.
Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Maths or related subject, and a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one; previous FE experience is beneficial but not required, with full training and support provided.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning. This is a permanent, part-time role working 18.5 hours per week.
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement. Understanding the importance of tailoring our teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners. It's essential to use strategies that promote engagement, accommodate diverse learning styles, and build a strong foundation for academic growth.
Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our Maths courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
