Salary Scale: £31,350 pro rata / 0.3 FTE (£9,405)

Access Creative College is seeking a GCSE Maths & English Lecturer to join our Plymouth team.

You will teach maths and English to young people engaged in creative programmes including music, media, games development, events, and Esports. You will make maths and English relevant through inclusive lesson planning and delivery, mark and assess learner work, set high expectations, and motivate students to excel. An understanding of effective teaching review methods and behaviour management strategies is essential.

About You

You will serve as a role model, delivering an exceptional educational experience that maximizes learner potential. You should have current knowledge of the GCSE Maths and English curriculum, experience with exam board requirements, and hold GCSEs at Grade 5 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent). A degree in a related subject is also required.

Experience delivering GCSE Maths and/or English is desirable but not essential; this role can be ideal for a newly qualified teacher or a Maths/English graduate seeking teaching experience.
