Who we need & what you will bring
We are seeking an inspirational teacher of History to contribute to high-quality teaching in both GCSE and A levels at High Pavement 6th Form (1.0 FTE). History is a popular subject here at High Pavement at both level 2 and 3. You will act as the lead teacher of GCSE History, working alongside our Assistant Head for FT GCSE, to provide a fun and engaging learning environment for our students. The role also involves delivering the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and some employability content at level 2.
The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced in teaching A Level and GCSE History, with AQA specifications being an advantage. You should have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to support students in reaching their academic potential. Digital skills to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
