Qualifikationen

• Relevant qualifications and experience in English, with the knowledge required to teach GCSE English.
• Teaching or lecturing experience in FE / sixth form or similar setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for learners of varying abilities.
• Strong assessment and feedback skills using data to support progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and high-quality GCSE English lessons.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and inform teaching.
• Maintain records of attendance, achievement, targets and learner destinations.
• Develop learning resources for the College's VLE and e-learning platforms.
• Support learners to develop knowledge, confidence and behaviours for progression.
• Act as a Personal Tutor and contribute to wider study programme.
• Provide guidance to prospective and progressing students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance.
