Job summary

iBSC is seeking a GCP Network DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol with 2 days remote and 3 days on-site. You will design and deliver hybrid-cloud platforms and automate API-driven systems using Infrastructure as Code.

Collaborate with a team to mature GCP and other cloud-based products, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enforce security and control requirements while resolving incidents and driving enterprise networking improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Ability to design and implement IaC-driven automation.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams on cloud platform delivery.

Overview

GCP Network DevOps Engineer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol with 2 days remote and 3 days on-site. The client is a large consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hybrid-cloud platforms and services.


• Develop automated API-driven systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.


• Collaborate with a team to deliver domain-owned deliverables and dependencies as GCP and other cloud-based products mature.


• Develop new features where emerging technologies present opportunities.


• Review and provide feedback on code changes for team members.


• Manage incidents and problems to resolve and advance enterprise networking connectivity issues.


• Operate in compliance with Control and Security requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native and third-party tooling.


• Experience with Git, Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Harness, Jenkins.


• Ability to work with a team of engineers to deliver domain-owned deliverables and dependencies.


• Technology-agnostic with willingness to adapt approaches to achieve the best solution.


• Experience with automated API-driven systems and IaC.


• Experience delivering hybrid-cloud platforms.
