Job summary

iBSC is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer in London to work in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD and infrastructure automation within a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will contribute to deployment automation, platform reliability and rapid iteration of software delivery. Mandatory skills include Java or Node.js, hands-on GCP and Kubernetes/GKE experience, Terraform IaC and a strong CI/CD background with Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus and Git.

Qualifications

• Strong Software Engineering background, ideally with Java and/or Node.js.
• Proven DevOps experience within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and GKE.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus and Git.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, Agile and DevOps practices.
• Production support, incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure in GCP.
• Implement deployment automation and scalable architectures using Kubernetes/GKE.
• Provide production support, incident response and RCA to minimise outages.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to improve delivery frequency and resilience.
