Job summary

Homeprotect Home Insurance is seeking a GCP Platform Engineer to design, build and run the company’s production data analytics platform on Google Cloud. You will create reusable IaC patterns and ensure secure, scalable data ingestion and orchestration across services such as BigQuery, Dataflow and Cloud Run.

You’ll collaborate with Data Engineers, security teams and the wider platform team, implementing CI/CD for infrastructure and promoting reliable deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a GCP Platform Engineer or similar roles supporting production data workloads.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of Azure data or cloud platform services for cross-cloud support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the GCP platform capabilities to support the data analytics platform.
• Create and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns and standards for data services.
• Provide secure and reliable platform foundations for data ingestion, orchestration and processing.
