The ideal candidate should have experience with GCP, Data Products, Data Mesh, ETL, EDW Composer, BigQuery, DataProc, DBT, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Pub-Sub, Jira, GCP Dataflow, BigTable, Python, Scala, Java, .NET, ANSI SQL, Airflow, Shell Scripts, Control-M, Git, CI & CD, HDFS, Unix File System, RDBMS, Azure DevOps, Harness.

More about the role:

• Define Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
• Lead the delivery of a complete Architectural Design and define Target Model backlog in collaboration with client stakeholders.
• Ensure designs and guidance align with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
• Experience with UK Mortgages background is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience on GCP, Harness, and Azure is expected.
• Support gathering of information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders.
• Ensure information requirements are realistic and achievable; simplify and de-risk the information landscape.
• Model information requirements in understandable ways for different stakeholders.
• Understand enterprise-wide information architecture and relate specific requirements to it.
• Identify solution strengths and weaknesses; take steps to mitigate weaknesses.
• Define the information roadmap for the project and wider programme.
• Understand the position of the solution within the wider application and information landscape; collaborate with other architects as needed.
• Ensure consistent data design throughout all phases by facilitating knowledge transfer and reviewing deliverables.
• Define logical data interfaces between systems.
• Assist in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
• Ensure solution compliance with client information policies and standards.
• Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
