We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Data & AI Cloud Associates! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn and contribute to building powerful data pipelines and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and helping our customers unlock the power of their data.

Location Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

What Will You Do?

• Contribute to Cloud Projects: Assist with cloud infrastructure projects, including data migrations and code updates.
• Build Data Pipelines: Design and build scalable data pipelines using tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Datastream, and Dataproc.
• Explore AI Workloads: Develop and experiment with predictive and generative AI models on Vertex AI.
• Assist in Data Architecture: Help build data architectures that support AI/ML, advanced analytics, and real-time decision-making, learning best practices along the way.
• Implement Data Validation: Learn to implement monitoring and validation processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Optimise Data Performance:Tune SQL queries and optimise data models to improve performance in the cloud.
• Support Data Governance: Learn about data governance, security standards, and regulatory compliance in the context of cloud data.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with cloud computing and Google Cloud (GCP), BigQuery functions, BigQuery ML functions and Dataflow, can be from personal projects.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (preferably Python) and ability to do code modifications.
• Ability to build data pipelines, can be from personal projects.
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows and VertexAI.
• A proactive attitude and a ability to take initiative.
• You think critically and thrive in complex technical environments.
  
• You pick up new crafts quickly and connect the dots across systems.
• You're a good communicator—whether explaining ideas to a teammate or a customer.
