Sensefolio, a leading provider of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data and analytics, is looking for an experienced and passionate GCP & Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud architecture, and infrastructure to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of our ESG data processing platform. Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support Sensefolio’s ESG data processing and analytics solutions
Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and other team members to optimize data processing pipelines, improve platform performance, and ensure the seamless integration of new features and services
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our platform
Develop and implement automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in cloud infrastructure management
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, GCP services, and industry best practices
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure specifications, architectural diagrams, and security protocols

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts, and cloud security best practices
Proficiency in GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Kubernetes Engine
Experience working with large-scale data processing, distributed computing, or cloud-based platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is highly desirable
Familiarity with ESG investing principles and market trends is a plus
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
