I am currently supporting a Cloud Consultancy that has an immediate need for a GCP Architect with a track record for delivering GCP Security best practices and Architecture, not only implementation.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain architectural blueprints for development in GCP
Introduce new services/tools in the GCP platform
Provide guidance on best practices and technical standards
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of GCP infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for efficient and automated deployment processes
Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security measures in GCP environments.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies related to GCP platform services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and GCP security best practices. Terraform is a must.
