Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for GCP environments. Ensure configurations are scalable, reliable, and follow best practices.
2. GCP Platform Management: Architect and manage GCP environments, including compute, storage, and networking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions. Work with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate and optimize solutions using Vertex AI, including machine learning pipelines and models.
3. BigQuery Storage: Design and optimize data storage solutions. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts for efficient data processing.
4. Wiz Security Control Integration: Integrate and configure Wiz Security Control for security monitoring and compliance. Collaborate with security teams to enhance security controls.
5. Automation and Tooling: Develop automation solutions for monitoring, scaling, and managing GCP resources. Maintain scripts and tools for operational efficiency.
6. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance. Understand Policies as Code in GCP. Conduct security assessments and audits.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Must be from a tiered school.
2. GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification or similar is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience with IaC using Terraform for GCP.
4. Hands-on experience with Vertex AI and BigQuery.
5. Experience with Wiz Security Control integration.
6. Deep knowledge of GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM.
7. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
8. Strong understanding of GCP security practices and compliance standards.
9. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
