Overview:

Supports all accounting-related activities, projects, analyses, and conversions within Global Capital Markets (GCM). Responsible for developing and managing operational accounting controls to support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monthly closing of the general ledger, including analyzing account fluctuations and preparing reports.
  • Perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and data integrity tests.
  • Review transaction documentation for accuracy and investigate variances.
  • Support process improvements and new process implementations.
  • Assist in integrating acquired portfolios into the general ledger.
  • Contribute to the creation and testing of business and functional requirements.
  • Prepare timely and accurate accounting reports.
  • Participate in problem resolution, data interpretation, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support departmental planning and administrative duties.
  • Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, escalate issues as needed.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and reflect the company’s brand.
  • Maintain internal control standards and support audit processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
