Job summary

The Public Sector Fraud Authority’s GCFP is recruiting an Assurance Manager to oversee membership processing, assurance governance and training delivery. You will work across multiple public sector organisations, ensuring robust governance, privacy and security across assurance activities.

You will engage with a range of stakeholders, chair or participate in review panels, and travel to PSFA locations including Manchester as required for in-person assurance visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, risk management and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to manage stakeholder interfaces and assurance review panels.
• Strong understanding of information governance, privacy and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage processing integrity for organisational membership applications to the GCFP from a range of organisations, including eligibility checks, accreditation decisions, and appeals/exit processes, in coordination with the Head of Assurance.
• Support the operation of the GCFP assurance framework (governance, risk management, quality assurance, performance monitoring).
• Serve as a primary interface for assurance stakeholders; deputy chair or participate in assurance review panels as required.
• Ensure information governance, privacy, and security requirements are observed in all assurance activities.
• Facilitate delivery of bespoke training to GCFP Assurance Advisory Panel Members.
• Support and facilitate drop-in sessions and bespoke meetings for potential new members of the GCFP.
• Arrange and conduct in-person assurance visits to GCFP member organisations.
• Other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.
• Travel, as required, to other locations in the United Kingdom including Manchester.
