Job summary

The Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA) leads the Government Counter Fraud Profession, aiming to modernise learning and development across the public sector with a focus on AI-enabled training and cross-government collaboration.

As GCFP Lead Capability Specialist, you will oversee strategic learning, engage with providers, manage contracts, and work with senior leaders to shape learning pathways and standards across UK public bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading learning and development initiatives in the public sector.
• Ability to influence training providers and design high-quality learning products.
• Comfort with evaluating and integrating generative AI into training.
• Experience managing contracts and partners in a multi-organisation environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and oversee a strategic learning approach for the Government Counter Fraud Profession.
• Engage with training providers to meet GCFP standards and deliver quality learning products.
• Design processes to provide quality assurance of external training through third parties.
• Lead and coordinate learning programmes with subject matter experts and other PSFA teams.
• Deliver capability programmes including in-person sessions with external partners.
• Work with the GCFP Board to shape learning policies and pathways.
• Provide input on learning content and entry routes to GCFP.
• Navigate digital learning approaches and generative AI impacts on delivery.
• Manage contracts with delivery partners and contractors.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to shape learning products and requirements.
• Travel across the UK (e.g., Glasgow, London, Newcastle, York, Manchester) for delivery.
