Job summary

A leading education company is seeking an Examiner for GCE A Level English Language and Literature. You will mark candidates' responses accurately in accordance with defined standards, with the option for remote marking. Candidates should have a degree, teaching qualifications, and relevant teaching experience. This role requires a strong subject knowledge and the ability to meet deadlines. Additional training will be provided during the marking period between May and July.

Qualifications

• At least one year's full time teaching experience in the relevant subject and qualification in the last 8 years.
• Must be a qualified teacher.
• At least one year's full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject within the last 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
• Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
• Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
• Complete all administration as specified.
