Location: Birmingham (B33) Salary: £50,000 per annum + £1,000 Welcome Bonus Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Reporting to: Regional Operations Director Responsible for: Service Managers / Cluster Team Managers

Your Role at a Glance

As Area Registered Manager, you’ll be the CQC-registered lead for one or more services in Birmingham. You’ll ensure high standards of care, drive service development, lead high-performing teams, and be a visible and proactive force for quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register with CQC for one or more services
  • Embed a person-centred, values-led culture
  • Deliver safe, high-quality care across services
  • Coach, mentor and develop Service/Cluster Managers
  • Lead audits, compliance, and safeguarding processes
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and staffing in line with commissioned hours
  • Build strong partnerships with families and professionals
  • Identify business development opportunities
  • Maintain robust documentation, health & safety, and governance
About You

You’re an experienced leader with a clear vision for delivering person-centred support. You’re calm under pressure, confident in your decision-making, and dedicated to improving lives.

You’ll have:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working toward it)
  • Strong background in supported living or complex care services
  • Solid understanding of CQC requirements and PBS approaches
  • A track record of managing people, risk, and quality effectively
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills
  • A flexible, resilient and values-led approach
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Enhanced DBS (we’ll cover the cost)
  • Satisfactory references
