YOUR IMPACT

We seek a professional, dynamic individual with experience in onboarding, managing, and optimizing flexible assets to join our Power Operations team. Experience with flexible assets is highly preferred; renewable asset experience is beneficial. Knowledge of intraday and day-ahead scheduling, as well as auctions in Euro power markets, would be advantageous. The candidate will support the business by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and developing key design solutions based on their experience. Attention to detail, operational & delivery risk focus, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure are essential.

OUR IMPACT

Operations is a diverse division partnering across the firm to deliver banking, sales, trading, and asset management services globally. It ensures risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and reputation. Power operations manage physical power deliveries in Europe, closely collaborating with Trading to manage risks and providing market intelligence and analysis. The team works with Sales, Legal, Technology, and other stakeholders to onboard new transactions, markets, and products.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Support Power & Flexible Asset operations, ensuring continuity across divisions.
• Leverage asset and operational experience to onboard assets and develop risk controls.
• Understand the Power Industry to assess market structure changes and communicate impacts.
• Manage market participation and auction platform engagement amidst market changes.
• Partner with Technology to improve systems and processes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with onboarding, operating, and optimizing flexible assets, especially batteries; renewable assets like wind and solar are a plus.
• Knowledge of TSO processes: registration, onboarding, scheduling, data exchange.
• Experience with virtual power plants and asset management.
• Understanding of asset metering, registrations, qualifications, and balancing services markets.
• Ability to work under pressure, detail-oriented, quick learner, team-oriented, innovative, self-motivated, and process-focused.
• Proficiency in at least one European language is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience with flexible assets.
• Knowledge of Euro Power markets (Germany, GB) and asset optimization.
• Advanced Excel skills and project management experience.
