Job description

Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Great Bay Community College is seeking adjunct instructors in the Automotive Technology program. Courses include Engines, Electrical, Braking, and Steering Systems. Courses are scheduled in Rochester during the evening.

The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree or
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive technology field;
  • ASE certification in the areas of teaching.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive technology.
  • Demonstrated compliance with safety practices.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
