Job Title: Full-Time Customer Service Security Officer
Location: Prestigious Coach Station, Birmingham
Working Hours: Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual tojoin our team as a Customer Service Security Officer at our prestigiouscoach station in Birmingham. If you have a passion for delivering exceptionalcustomer service, a proactive attitude, and a drive to make a real impact inthe community, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will combine the duties of customerservice and security to ensure our customers have a safe, smooth, and enjoyableexperience. You will be an essential part of our team, providing face-to-faceassistance to passengers while maintaining a visible and reassuring securitypresence throughout the station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provideexcellent customer service by assisting passengers, answering queries, andensuring their overall experience is positive.
  • Maintaina visible and reassuring security presence within the coach station,monitoring for any suspicious activity and acting promptly when necessary.
  • Ensurethe safety and security of both customers and staff, enforcing safetypolicies and procedures as required.
  • Respondeffectively to any incidents or emergencies, liaising with localauthorities when appropriate.
  • Handleany customer concerns or issues with professionalism and tact, alwaysaiming for a positive resolution.
  • Supportand collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and safeenvironment for all.
  • Beproactive in identifying potential risks or areas of improvement withinthe station.
  • Providean active lead in dealing with the Street Community and ASB incidentsensuring all incidents are reported to the appropriate organisation andlogged locally.
  • Providesupport to customers who have pre booked assistances, liaise with controlroom staff accordingly.
  • Providesupport in CCTV (viewing only) when requested by Police or otherauthorised channels .
  • Providequeue busting support at the Ticket office, supporting customers in usingthe TVM.
  • Meetand greet coaches upon arrival into the station, ensuring customers safelyenter the building.

Key Requirements:

  • ValidSIA (Security Industry Authority) licence is essential.
  • Provenexperience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a security orpublic-facing capacity.
  • Strongcommunication skills, with the ability to engage confidently andprofessionally with members of the public.
  • Abilityto remain calm under pressure and deal with challenging situationseffectively.
  • Flexibilityto work across a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Apassion for customer service and a genuine desire to make a positivedifference in the community.
  • Aproactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and solve problemsefficiently.
