Job summary

Brunel Fire & Security is seeking a motivated Automation Engineer to maintain and service automated systems including gates, barriers, doors, and shutters across the UK. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical fault finding, with opportunities for career development and working with prestigious clients.

You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, ensure safety standards, and document service records.

Qualifications

• Manufacturer training with leading automation providers.
• Ambitious with aspirations to progress and take on further responsibility.
• Full and clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis.
• Repair and remedial works on automated systems.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Ensure systems operate safely and remain compliant with current standards.
• Accurate completion of service records and reports.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent service.
