Sodexo is seeking a Security Officer for Baker & Baker, Wirral. The role is a 50/50 day/night shift at a busy bakery manufacturing site, encompassing gatehouse reception, access control, and security duties. You will patrol, monitor CCTV, and coordinate with departments to maintain safety and security.

• Previous experience in security roles.
• Full valid driving licence.

• Good computer skills (Word/Excel).

• Experience in gatehouse/reception security and CCTV monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming and professional face of Baker & Baker at the Gatehouse.
• Greet and sign in staff, visitors, contractors and drivers.
• Carry out ID checks and manage site access procedures.
• Issue badges and maintain registers.
• Support reception duties and handle calls.
• Assist with inductions and site administration.
• Operate weighbridge when required.
• Conduct daily patrols and CCTV monitoring as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports.
• Maintain safety checks and report hazards.
• Coordinate with site departments for deliveries/collections.
• Ensure PPE and site rules are followed.
• Provide out-of-hours reception support and team collaboration.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
