Job summary

OQS Odin Quality Security Ltd in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a Monday to Thursday day shift at a Tier One aerospace manufacturing facility. Based in the gatehouse, you will provide frontline security, manage access, and maintain a professional, independent presence on site.

You will monitor CCTV, perform patrols, log incidents, and work with contractors and drivers. The role offers a fixed schedule and the chance to join a high-profile site with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• SIA licence valid and in date.
• Five-year employment history with BS7858:2019 vetting.
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• Professional communication with drivers and management.
• Ability to work independently and on-site in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Gatehouse operations and access control at site entrance.
• Monitor CCTV during patrols and log incidents.
• Manage site yard vehicle access and enforce limits.
• Control entry of transport wagons and service vehicles per client instructions.
• Operate barrier system and maintain daily logs.
