Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd working at a waste management distribution site in Hull, HU8 area.

A Gatehouse Security Officer is responsible for managing access control at a facility's entrance, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off. Monday to Sunday 18:00 - 07:00.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the site.
  • Liaise with client to fulfill security requirements on site.
  • Complete various security documentation.
  • Liaise with manager effectively and efficiently.
  • Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom.
  • Supervise and control site access.
  • Where appropriate and trained, act as incident first responder.
  • Fire watch & proactive monitoring.
  • CCTV monitoring.

About you:

  • A valid SIA licence or applied for.
  • A full five-year checkable employment history.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • Have a good level of judgment and professionalism.
