Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is assisting a client in recruiting experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its team in South East/East Sussex. The role focuses on commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and related infrastructure.

You will install and retrofit automation, handle large plug-and-play installations, carry out fault finding and planned maintenance, and support civils works on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Gate Safe Certification is essential.
• DHF Automated Gate Training completed.
• HSG47: Avoiding Danger from Underground Services.

Responsibilities

• Install automatic gates and barriers.
• Retrofit automation on existing gates.
• Manage large commercial installations.
• Fault finding and reactive call-outs.
• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Civil works including excavation, ducting and bases.
• Install automation equipment and read drawings.
• Commission and handover on site.
• Read technical drawings and perform site surveys.
