High Profile Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a Gate Automation Engineer in the Dartford area. The role covers installation, servicing and fault repair of automated gates and access control systems, with regular travel across the South East and occasional stays on large projects.

Open to engineers focused on installation or those who prefer service/diagnostics. The package includes a competitive salary (£40,000–£50,000), company vehicle, tools and uniform, plus ongoing training and development.

Formación

• Hands-on experience installing gates, automation systems and access control.
• ECS card is essential.
• GateSafe and/or DHF training preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Must be able to commute regularly to the yard.

Responsabilidades

• Install automated gates and access control from start to finish - hanging gates, fitting the automation, wiring and commissioning.
• Service and maintain existing systems and repair faults on automation equipment.
• Work safely and to compliance standards on every job.
• Be the face of the business on site and provide a professional, helpful service to customers.
• Work mostly across the South East with occasional stay-away work on larger installations.

Gate Automation Engineer

Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 depending on experience, plus company vehicle, tools and uniform
Contract: Permanent, full-time

They install and maintain systems on construction sites, industrial units, schools and secure government sites, as well as premium private homes.

They are also in a serious growth phase, with real investment behind them. They want to add experienced engineers who take pride in doing installations properly.

The role

• Install automated gates and access control systems from start to finish - hanging gates, fitting the automation, wiring and commissioning.
• Service and maintain existing systems and find and repair faults on automation equipment.

What you ll need

• Proven hands-on experience installing gates, automation systems and access control. This matters most.
• An ECS card (essential).
• DHF and/or GateSafe training (preferred, not essential).
• Good mechanical and electrical skills. Knowledge of control panels, fob systems, intercoms, IP or CCTV is a bonus.
• A full clean UK driving licence.
• A practical, problem-solving attitude and a commute that lets you get to the yard regularly.
