Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dietitian for a fixed-term maternity cover in the Dietetic and Speech Therapy Team. You will provide dietetic care on gastroenterology and medical wards, run parenteral nutrition caseloads, and deliver education sessions for IBS and coeliac disease.

There is a weekly gastro clinic, care for Mental Health Unit wards, and opportunities to cover other services. HCPC registration is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in nutrition and dietetics.
• HCPC registration as a Dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based dietetic service to gastroenterology and medical wards.
• Run gastroenterology outpatient clinics, including a weekly gastro clinic.
• Manage a caseload including parenteral nutrition.
• Provide dietetic service to Mental Health Unit wards as part of the MDT.
• Run education sessions for IBS and coeliac disease.
• Provide nutrition training to staff and patients.
• Take part in audits and service improvement projects.
• Provide second-line cover to other specialists.
