Locum People are seeking a Gastroenterology Consultant to work in the Greater Manchester area on a 6-month initial contract.

The Gastroenterology department within a large general hospital in Manchester is looking for a Consultant to start as soon as possible, with a view to extend the contract.

Job Details:

• Grade – Consultant
• Speciality – Gastroenterology
• Start – ASAP
• Rota – Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:00); Job plan available on request
• Duration – 6 months initially, with potential to extend

Client Requirements:

• Right to work in UK
• Full GMC registration
• Two references or referee details for verification
• Previous Gastroenterology experience in NHS at Consultant level is essential
• Experience with luminal gastroenterology, especially IBD
• Ability to cover wards equitably with the team and participate in out-of-hours on-call work
• Independent with endoscopy, including GI bleeds
