Job summary

Triconnex LTD. is seeking a reliable Utility Operative to join the Water & Gas Team in Sudbury and surrounding areas. The role covers installation, maintenance and connection of water and gas networks on residential developments, delivering high-quality utility infrastructure safely and efficiently.

You will support installation and maintenance across multiple sites, working with an experienced team to ensure tasks are completed to industry standards while maintaining customer service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities, water, gas or civil engineering sectors.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop, with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out water and gas installation works, including mains and service connections.
• Assist with the safe construction, maintenance and repair of utility networks.
• Undertake excavation, pipe laying, reinstatement and associated groundwork activities.
• Work in accordance with site plans, job specifications and company procedures.
• Operate tools, equipment and plant safely and effectively.
• Comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.
• Attend toolbox talks and competency updates as required.
• Record details of work and report issues or incidents.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, residents, colleagues and site teams.
• Represent the company positively and deliver an excellent customer experience.
