Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Gas Technician to service heating and hot water systems across our properties. You will be responsible for repairs in both tenanted and vacant homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and first-time fixes where possible.

The role requires ACS qualifications, a City & Guilds Gas Maintenance certificate (or NVQ Level 3), and a full UK driving licence. You will cover multiple locations and participate in a call-out rota. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• ACS accreditations CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, UDHW are required.
• City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Gas Maintenance or NVQ Level 3.
• Experience across domestic gas appliances and central heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs on heating and hot water systems in tenanted and vacant properties.
• Work with high quality workmanship and aim for first-time fixes.
• Maintain records (paper or electronic) as required.
• Measure, quantify, and procure materials.
• Prioritise customer care and protect tenants’ belongings during work.
• Conduct risk assessments before starting work and uphold safety standards.
• Diagnose problems and plan efficient repair approaches.
• Collaborate with team and assist with related gas jobs as required.
