Job description

Gas Technical & Quality Assistant

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Type: Permanent

Due to continued success and growth, our Manufacturing / Engineering client, a leader in their market sector, is looking to recruit a Permanent Gas Technical & Quality Assistant for their Banbury location.

Job Purpose:

To carry out quality/auditing processes and procedures, reviewing manufacturing processes, and supporting 'Quality Management Systems'. Full training will be given, but you MUST have an ACS Gas qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to technical enquiries, reviewing technical drawings, and undertaking sizing projects.
  • Assisting in the presentation of our clients training program to consultants, specifiers, and installers.
  • Maintaining technical content in literature and on the website.
  • Supporting the ISO 9001 quality management system, including product testing, certification, and systems auditing.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the gas industry - you MUST hold current ACS proof of competence (or equivalent).
  • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or product testing within an Engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Hardworking, conscientious, and able to carry out all aspects of the role.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
