Job Description - Gas Supervisor (251162)

Job Title: Gas Supervisor (Domestic Maintenance)

Location: Working across properties in North Lakes

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

Salary: £42,636 per annum plus van and benefits including Health Cash Plan

Introduction: Join Home Group's repairs and maintenance team as a Gas Supervisor. Supervise and direct our multi-trade Gas team and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, compliant services across responsive and void properties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead trades team to ensure right-first-time, high-quality repairs and maintenance.
  2. Oversee installation, repair, and servicing of domestic gas appliances, ensuring standards, budget, KPIs, and service standards are met.
  3. Manage health and safety compliance in line with regulations.
  4. Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to fulfill customer commitments.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or relevant operational experience.
  • Proven experience in gas installation and maintenance, with knowledge of domestic gas appliances.
  • Current ACS accreditation (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
  • Health and safety qualification (e.g., SMSTS) and experience managing safety for teams and contractors.
  • Experience managing construction teams, delivering work within time and budget, and ensuring quality.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, gas/mechanical installations, and working to specifications.
  • Full valid driving licence; company van provided.

Additional Information:

  • Availability for out-of-hours rota with additional pay.
  • Based in Maryport, covering North Lakes.
  • Proficiency in using technology for work management, online learning, and collaboration.
  • Basic DBS check required (paid by us).
