Job summary

Gas Engineer Service & Repair role based in Derby is seeking an experienced engineer to join a leading housing maintenance and energy upgrade provider. The position covers Derby with a salary up to £42,500 DOE, plus overtime and on-call opportunities.

Candidates should have 2–3 years’ service and repair experience, strong fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence. The role emphasises high standards, customer service, and the ability to work independently in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a service and repair engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications for the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair work across the Wirral and Chester areas.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant safety regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers’ homes.
• Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
