Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Gas Engineer Service & Repair Engineer to cover the Derby area. The role requires 2–3 years of service and repair experience, with opportunities for overtime and on-call earnings.

You will diagnose faults, perform service and repair work, and ensure high-quality safety standards while delivering excellent customer service in customers’ homes. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a service and repair engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications for the role.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair work across the Wirral and Chester areas.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant safety regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers’ homes.
• Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
