Job Title: Gas Service Engineer

Location: Guernsey

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + call out and emergency rate + van + fuel card

Note: We are looking for suitable candidates interested in relocating to Channel Islands. Our client will support relocation.

Are you a hands-on GAS professional passionate about customer service and technical excellence? We are seeking a Gas Service Engineer to join a high-performing energy operations team based in Guernsey.

This role involves the safe and efficient servicing, installation, and maintenance of domestic gas appliances—including fires, cookers, burners, boilers, central heating—while promoting safety, collaboration, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and maintain gas appliances (fires, cookers, burners, boilers, central heating, etc.)
• Respond to gas emergencies as a first responder
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various domestic appliances
• Support gas leak detection, repair, and maintenance alongside network teams
• Provide excellent customer care during service visits and comfort calls
• Supervise and support apprentices as needed
• Ensure compliance with gas industry regulations and safety protocols
• Accurately record and report work (paper and digital formats)

Experience Required:

• Experience with a wide range of gas appliances, especially fires, cookers, and burners

Additional Requirements:

• UK-based Gas Safe Registered professional willing to relocate to Guernsey
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Customer-focused with clear communication
• Strong responsibility and safety awareness
