Example Recruitment Group has a fantastic opportunity available to work for one of our most prestigious clients, a leading Heating and Maintenance provider in the UK. Specialising in the local authority sector, they are recruiting a Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Colchester. This role offers great earning potential, with up to 2 hours of overtime per day and regular call-outs.

The Role:

• Basic salary: £42,000 - £44,000 plus call-out & overtime
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (42.5 hours/week)
• Overtime and call-out duties (every 4-6 weeks)
• Servicing and breakdowns within domestic housing association properties
• All appointments pre-booked
• Strong skills in breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and repair work on domestic boilers and heating systems
• Regular overtime opportunities
• High earning potential
• Gas boiler and appliance checks

Requirements:

• Experience in servicing and breakdowns of gas boilers and appliances
• ACS qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, and CENWAT (or CEN1 and WAT1)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Clean DBS
