Job summary

A Lings Group Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our Heating Division, covering South London and Surrey. This is a domestic-focused role, servicing, diagnosing, and breakdown repairs for private customers.

You will operate to Gas Safe standards, deliver high standards of customer service, and benefit from a fully equipped company van, fuel card, 28 days holiday, pension, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid ACS Gas qualifications (domestic).
• Experience servicing and fault-finding on gas breakdowns.
• Full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair domestic gas boilers.
• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out boiler safety checks and ensure system compliance.
• Provide clear advice and maintain a high standard of customer service.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our expanding Heating Division, covering South London & Surrey.

This is a domestic-focused role, involving servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs for private customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair domestic gas boilers
• Diagnose faults and carry out efficient breakdown repairs
• Complete all work to manufacturer specifications and Gas Safe standards
• Carry out boiler safety checks and ensure system compliance
• Provide clear advice and maintain a high standard of customer serviceEnsure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures

Requirements

• Valid ACS Gas qualifications (domestic)
• Proven experience in servicing and fault-finding on breakdowns
• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 3 points)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable (not Essential)

• Unvented G3
• Commercial Gas & Plumbing Experience
• CSCS Card
• Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Height (

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000 – £50,000 OTE
• Paid overtime available

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30
• Weekend availability required (rota basis)
